He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allen, Sr. and Hazel Parker Shelton; his daughters, Kimberly Ann Hicks and Carrie Ann Shelton; and his brother Larry Shelton.
He is survived by: his sons, Walter Allen Shelton, III and Matthew Allen Shelton (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Bryce, Wesley Shelton and Summer Mossbarger; and his siblings, Terry, Roger, Marcie Shelton, Billie Jean Arnold, Elaine Blackburn, Patricia Baker and Phyllis Franklin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
