She was predeceased by: her parents, John Euell and Rosa Mae Crick Medley; her husband John Earl Phelps; her son Gary Lynn Phelps; and her sisters, Lucille Rich, Virginia Cummings, Geraldine Medley, Martha Skelton and Margaret Lowe.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Kay (Michael), Frame of Wartrace and John Richard Phelps (Lilibeth) of Normandy; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Phelps of Wartrace. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
