He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Brewer and Pat Baxter; his stepbrothers, Donnie, Ronnie and Lonnie Baxter; and his stepfather James Baxter.

He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Brewer; his children, Joey Eugene Brewer of Manchester, TN, Joshua Randal Brewer of Virginia Beach, VA, Jessie James Brewer of Wartrace, TN, Kayla Dawn Brewer of Wartrace, TN and Kerri Ann Rose Brewer of Wartrace, TN; his grandchildren, Callie Nichole, Briley Marie Brewer and Trisha Leann Lovvorn; and his siblings, Mike Brewer (Jennifer), Steve Brewer (Emily), Billy Baxter (Kinda), Tooter Baxter (Missy), Leon Brewer and Katreece McGrath (Brandon).
