He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Lena Crosslin Davis; and his siblings, Eugene, Eldie, Elvin, John Robert, Kenneth, Edward, Jimmie, Opal Bush, Ethel Duke and Jane Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Messick Davis; his son Brian Rayburn Davis (Paige) of Nashville; his granddaughter Julia Campbell Bennett (Tyler) of Smyrna; and his siblings, Vernon Davis and Treva Summers of Manchester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family encourages anyone attending to wear a mask.
