He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Byrd and Jessie Alexander Hunt; and his siblings, Annie Ruth Hunt Howell, Roy Sylvester Hunt, Sr., Thomas Burley Hunt, Janise Williams Hunt, Gladys Tucker Hopkins, Nannie Grace Tucker Wilson, Sam B. Tucker and Willie Lee Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Tucker of Wartrace; his daughters, Janet Tucker Krapf (Bruce) of Murfreesboro and Karen Tucker Vaughn of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Karissa Fay Krapf, Kevin Bruce Krapf, Adam Garrett Vaughn (Haley) and Brady Reed Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Currie Alden Dail, Judah McKellon Alexander Dail and Annie Rae Vaughn; his sister Melba Tucker Rooker of Smyrna; and his sister-in-law Helen E. Hunt of Beach Grove, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to flowers the family ask donations be made to Gideons International, Soul Choir of Nashville or Domestic Violence Center of Murfreesboro.
