He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdie Jones and Sallie Wilson Jones; his wife Alma Langley Jones; his siblings, John Henry, Tommy Jones, Katie Duncan and Ruby Wells; and his son-in-law Marvin Sayne.
He is survived by: his children, Myrna Jones Sayne, Murrell Jones (Michelle) and Lora Jones Fountain (Lyle); and his grandchildren, Erin Sayne Young, Carmen Jones Blanchard, Lance Jones, Kylie Jones McCarter, Crystal Fountain-Garrett and Dillon Fountain. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
