She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Hershel Oney; her son Michael; her parents, Ethel Huling Shannon and Houston Shannon Sr.; and her siblings, Houston Shannon Jr. and Helen Mae Shannon.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Newberry; her nieces, Sandy Shirks, Doris Ann Langley (Pud) and Susie Kirk; her nephew Darrell Newberry; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Jo Oney, Wanda Oney, Christine Oney and Relda Oney.
