He was predeceased by: his father Joseph E. Hembree Jr.; his sisters, Teressa "Sissy" Hembree and Sheila Moore; and his grandparents, Joseph E. Hembree Sr., Lillie Hembree Phillips, Carlettie and George Mullins.
He is survived by: his mother Goldie Mullins Hembree; his siblings, Glenn "Mummbles" Hembree and Vicki Sexton; and his niece Rebecca Watters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members.
