We bid farewell to Frances Alice Rains of Wartburg, Tennessee, born in Harriman, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2025 at the age of 69. Frances touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Kenneth Ray Rains Jr.; her parents, Henry Aslinger and Alice Patterson Aslinger; her brother Earl Aslinger; and her brother-in-law Wayne Shannon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jana Howard (Matthew) of Wartburg and Addie Roberts (Jason) of Ten Mile; her grandchildren, Clayton Howard, Caleb Howard of Wartburg, Hattie Roberts, Patsy of Wartburg and Lee Aslinger (Sandra) of Wartburg; and her sisters, Audra Baker (Bill) of Wartburg, Glenda Thomas (Gary) of Wartburg, Carolyn Campbell (Jim) of Wartburg and Sheril Shannon of Wartburg.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church Youth Group in Wartburg, P.O. Box 846, Wartburg, TN 37887.
