It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Chilton (Wartburg, Tennessee), born in Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gus; her brother Bill Zachary; her sister-in-law Emma Zachary; and her brother Jack Zachary of Myrtle Beach, SC.. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Gertrude Zachary of Myrtle Beach, SC; her children, Gus Ed Chilton (Bridgette), Evelyn Roettger (Fred), Margie Branstetter (Mitch) and Peggy Hamby (Joe); her daughter-in-law Sandy Chilton; and her grandchildren, Michael Roettger (Jo), Emily Graber (Matt), Christina Smith, Ray Jenkins (Nora), Rebecca Chilton, Madison Jones (Brian), Drew Jenkins (Eden), Sarah Simpson (Jake), Monte Branstetter (Tiffany), Leah Jenkins, Aaron Hamby (Sarah Hill), Victoria Hamby, Olivia Hamby, Alli Laymance, Ian Graber, Lorelei Simpson, Jaxen Chilton, Wesley Smith, Amelia Simpson, Averie Chilton, Henry Hamby, Genevieve Graber, Hattie Jenkins, Marli Branstetter and Wiley Roettger.

In leiu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, PO Box 62, Wartburg, TN 37887 in her memory.
