He is survived by: his children, Van Rankin (Janice) and Phyllis Potter; his grandchildren, Kevin Rankin (Megan), Valerie Hyder and Kelli Harvey (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Lochlyn, Harrison Rankin, Benjamin Hyder, Avaleigh and Ezra Harvey; and his brother Claude Rankin.
