He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Elijah "Brownie" Grissom and Mary Lou Howell Grissom; and his sisters, Helen Grissom Dunlap and Juanita Grissom Hennessee Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Jane Grissom; his children, Deana Wood of Birmingham, AL, Darrell Wayne Grissom of Pulaski, TN and Debbie Gregory of Sevierville, TN; his grandchildren, Cody, Shelby, Matthew, Jonathan and Joshua; and his friend Kim Roberson. He is also survived by Several great-grandchildren, nephews, a niece.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta, TN to help with expenses.
