He is survived by: his wife Ruby Alma Kaetzel (Herr); his daughter Holly O'Donnell (Mark); his grandsons, John Thomas, Nick "Levi" Thomas (Shea) and Dylan Borton; and his great grandchildren, John Jr., Cora and Gage.
