He is survived by: his wife Gaila Dean; his daughters, Carrie Dean of Vonore and Lisa Dean of Atlanta, GA; his sisters, Edna McMahan and Harlean Young; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Dean and Austin Kirkland; and his stepsons, Scott Godfrey and Darrell Godfrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
