Kirkland and Kathryn Williams Kirkland; and his siblings, Artie Cannon, Irene Bright, Ulyse Kirkland (Bud), Beece Kirkland (John C.), Otis Kirkland, Willard Kirkland, Grover Kirkland, Lila Jurgens, Homer Kirkland, Laura Collette, Howard Kirkland, Edgar Kirkland, Susan Kirkland and Oscar Kirkland.
He is survived by: his son Michael Millsaps; and his brother Austin Kirkland of Vonore.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Citico Cemetery Fund.
