It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna D. McMahan of Vonore, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Amos McMahan (Pete) of Vonore; her grandchildren, Ashley McMahan and Matt Frerichs; her great grandchildren, Zachary Earle and Chase Caudell; her parent Harley Martin; her grandmother Rebecca Tallent Dean; and her siblings, Marylou (John Millsaps), Beulah Kirkland, Ralph (Imogene Dean), Ray (Carol Dean), Raymond Dean and William Wayne Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Jane (Marvin Duncan), Jennifer (Stanley Watson), Beverly (Greg Dunn), Chris (Jack Welch), Don (Elaine McMahan), Ralph (Jane McMahan), David McMahan (Sadie), Ricky (Joyce McMahan) and Marty (Karen McMahan); her siblings-in-law, Harlene, Edgar Young, Austin Kirkland, Evelyn Dean and Gail Dean; and her niece Diane Dean Sowards. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, Sister.
