He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearce Julian and Mayme Dupes Baker; and his siblings, Frank J. Baker, Helen H. Baker, William J. Baker, Clara M. "Tiny" Baker Hicks, Betty Jo Greene, David W. Baker, John P. Baker, Thomas A. Baker and Henry J. Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon L. Baker and Michael J. Baker of Calhoun, GA; his grandchildren, Ashley Rollins, Zachary Baker, Benjamin Baker, Jacob Baker, Layla Baker and Jordan Baker; his sister Virginia Childers; the mother of his children Linda Nicholson of Calhoun, GA; and his sister-in-law Carol Baker of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
