He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace "Sam" and Mona Belle Brookshear McBroom; and his siblings, Elmer, Joe McBroom and Georgia Russell.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Salyers (Curtis); his grandsons, Travis Gardner (Lisa) and Tyler Finger (Destiney); his great grandchildren, Ryan Gardner, Kinsley Gardner, Jacob Gardner and Wyatt Finger; and his great great grandchildren, Jace Gardner, Phoenix Gardner and Vaelin Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
