He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Tidwell and Annie Cornelia Baker Tidwell; his wife Sheila Shirley Tidwell; and his brother Wayne Tidwell. He is survived by: his children, Tonya Bates (Jim) of Lyles, TN, Sabrina Pelt (Mitchell), Port St and Buddy Bales (Jerrica) of Wytheville, VA; and his brothers, James Tidwell (Marilyn) of Lyles, TN, Anthony Tidwell (Brenda) of White Bluff, TN and Dennis Tidwell (Sherry) of Centerville, TN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
