He was predeceased by: his parents, Linley K. "Bud" Adams and Mabel Gill Adams; his son Greg Adams; and his brother Donald Adams. He is survived by: his children, Grant Adams, Wendy Rhodes (Gerald) and Shawn Burgess; and his nephew Barry Adams. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
