She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder James Read and May Donaldson Read; her husband Willie Gene Smith; her daughter Melody Dawn Smith; and her sister Sandra Read Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, June Elnicki (Jeff) of Tullahoma, TN and Kenneth Gene Smith of Unionville, TN; her brother James D. Read; and her stepmother Josephine Read of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
