He was predeceased by: his parents, William Deering and Bessie Mae Miles O'Dell; his wife Linda; and his siblings, Jane Horvath and Terry Deering.

He is survived by: his brothers, David O'Dell of Unionville and Peter O'Dell of Chapel Hill.

We've been in contact with Larry during our transition from Illinois to Tennessee and he was very helpful in guiding us around our new area we moved to. He was a true believer in our Lord and I know he's now with Linda in Heaven ❤️ Sending much love and light to his surviving family. May God continue blessing all of you.”
