He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Alta Lorene Castleman Green; his former wife Villa B. Williams Green; his daughter Angela Faye Brooks; and his siblings, J. W. Green, Dwight Green and Wanda Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyner Green; his son James Glenn Green of Union City; his grandchildren, Jack Logan Cord Hastings, Kristyn Shai Nicole Hastings, Kyndal Brooke Ashlyn Hastings, April Denise Brooks and William Patrick Brooks; his great grandchild Carson Bentley Levi Fulcher; his son-in-law Richard Lee Brooks of Union City; and his sisters, Patricia Jowers (Jimmy) of Friendship and Devenda Summers of Union City.
