She was predeceased by: her parents, Frankie Dan Vancleave and Edna Elizabeth Coleman (Killion); and her husband Charles William "Hoot" Powers. She is survived by: her sons, Joey Vancleave and James Melvin Powers of Samburg; her goddaughter Mattie Burkett of Martin; and her brothers, Jackie Krietman (Sueann) of Union City, Timmy Vancleave (Debbie) of Samburg and Noah Vancleave (Lisa) of Nashville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
