We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2024, at the age of 87, Robert Eli Clendenin D. Jr. of Union City, Tennessee, born in Martin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eli Clendenin, Sr. and Evelyn Allen Clendenin. He is survived by: his sons, Robert E. Clendenin III (Juli), Phillip Allen Clendenin (Mitsy) and John Brantley Clendenin (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Robert E. Clendenin IV (Shaina), Jack Patterson Clendenin, Paul Lucky Clendenin, Annie Ru Clendenin, David Thomas Clendenin, Lucia Grace Clendenin, Anderson McAnally Clendenin, Hailey Elizabeth Clendenin, John Brantley Clendenin Jr. and Nicholas Wade Clendenin; his great grandchild Lakshmi Mishra; and his brother Dr. Bill Clendenin.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Robert E. and Martha P. Clendenin Endowment at The University of Tennessee at Martin or to First Baptist Church in Union City.
