With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Brasure of Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wilson and Maybelle Wilson (Powers); and her siblings, Belva Ann Jackson, Sue Wilson, Gaye White, Don Ray Wilson, Harold Wilson, Earl Wilson, Gerald Wilson, Rob Wilson, Mark Wilson, Lynn Wilson and Charles Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jessie Brasure (Melissa) of Bells and James Brasure of Union City; her granddaughters, Brittney Brasure of Dyersburg and Sky Brasure of Dyersburg; her great grandchildren, Oliver Mallard of Dyersburg and Owen Mallard of Dyersburg; and her siblings, Martha Jo Powers of Union City, Paula Covey (Ray) of Union City and Mike Wilson (Sarah) of Oakton, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
