She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Owens and Bessie Owens (Smith); her husband George Davis; her son Robert Alan Yates; her siblings, Ann Cook, Gene Owens, Cecil Owens and Dale Owens; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Owens, Sharon Owens, Easter Owens and Linda Owens.
She is survived by: her siblings, Valorie Johnson of Union City, David Owens, Tom Owens of Union City, Chuck Owens of Woodland Mills, George Owens (Molly) of O'Fallon and Jim Owens (Sue) of Gadsden, Alabama; and her sister-in-law Brenda Owens of Union City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
