He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Prather and Caroline "Marshall" Prather; and his wife Hollica "Lisa" Williams Prather (Lisa). He is survived by: his children, Joseph Shane Prather (Sherese) of Wapakoneta, OH and Jessica "JJ" Prather of Union City, TN.; his grandchildren, James Nicholas Prather (Ivy) of St. Marys, OH., Nancy Carr (Wes) of Martin, TN, Preston "Jade" Eakes of Hickman, KY, Ashlee Wirgau (Brad) of Buchanan, TN, Brad Weatherbee (Audrey) of Camden, TN and Cory Weatherbee (Hannah) of Gleason, TN.; his great grandchildren, Zola Prather, Layla Prather, Carter Unger, Caroline Carr, Rhiannon Eakes, Brayden Eakes, Peyton Eakes, Chloe McClure, Jaxon Harrison, Sutton Wirgau, Sydney Weatherbee and Jentri Weatherbee; and his sister Elaine Burden (Ray) of Union City, TN..
