He is survived by: his wife Beverly Yates (Heath) of Union City; his brother Ronnie Yates of Union City; his niece Carla Russo of St. Louis, Missouri; his great-niece Johnna Webb Finch of Troy; and also, Molly Shadowens of Troy and Lucas Shadowens of South Fulton. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
