He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sherrill and Lillie Sherrill Maddox (Murray); and his wife Mildred McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Dill of Union City, Kevin Stowe (Lisa) of Union City and Jerry Sherrill, II (Stefanie) of Union City; his grandchildren, Leticia Butler (Gene) of Union City, Chad Dill (Emmalee) of Union City, Justin Dill (Kristin) of Union City, Chance Stowe (Calli) of Troy, Courtney Marshall (Jeff) of Troy, Matt Sherrill of Union City, Kaylee DeWitt (Cody) of Union City, Austin Debo of Union City, Michaela Glisson of Union City, Maghen Avery (Collin) of Jackson and Catherine Cochran (Calan) of Ridgely; and his sisters, Margie Gooch of Tiptonville and Finetta McClain of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
