It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ilean Johnson of Union City, Tennessee, born in Morning View, Kentucky, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest William Lykins and Carla Skaggs (Deaton); and her sisters, Virgie Ervin, Virginia Whitlock and Betty Jeffers.
She is survived by: her son Max; her daughter-in-law Barbara Grimes of Union City; her daughter Jill; her son-in-law Fredy Venczel of Lake Wylie; her grandchildren, Haley Purdy of Newbern, Jordan Grimes of Union City, Caleb Venczel of Belmont and Zach Venczel of Lake Wylie; her great grandchildren, Makayla Purdy of Newbern, Carson Paugh of Newbern and Amelia Venczel of Lake Wylie; and her sisters, Wanda Watson and Clara Johnson.
