He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sullivan "Doc" Poole and Geneva Poole (Edwards); his brother Monty Poole; his nephew Joel S. Poole; and his stepchildren, Ryan Puckett and Devonda Orsborne.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Poole (Burress) of Union City; his children, Cammie Poole Collins of Mobile, Alabama, Anthony Poole (Jannie) of Palmersville and Eric Catron (Tiffany) of Milan; his grandson Tyler Poole (Lacey) of Paducah, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Leighton Pruett of Paducah and Shiloh Poole; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Poole of Union City, Cathy Duncan of Union City, Michelle Bethel of Union City and Lisa Pace of Union City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
