It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Hicks (Union City, Tennessee), who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. "Clifford" Hicks and Birdie Hicks (McKinnis); and his brother Howell "Sambo" Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hicks (Gill); his sons, Thomas Hicks of Troy and G. G. Hicks of Union City; his granddaughters, Madison Hicks of Martin, Jenna Hicks of Union City and Emrie Hicks of Union City; his siblings, Patsy Barber of Henderson, Larry Hicks (Harriet) of Union City and Gary Hicks (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Ruby Hicks of Union City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
