He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thomas and Beulah Estelle Southerland (Parish); and his brother Daniel Southerland. He is survived by: his son Paul Southerland (Candace) of Martin; his stepson Eddie Fleming (Misty) of Obion; his grandsons, Hunter Southerland of Martin, Cody Southerland of Martin and Levi Fleming of Obion; and his siblings, Betty Kay Burress of Kenton, Rita Allen of Martinville, Indiana, Diane Wilson of Dyersburg, Annie Mosier of Rives, Debbie Marvin of Union City, Charles Southerland of Union City, Carl Southerland of Ridgely, Bill Southerland of Samburg, Jessie Southerland of Union City, Jerry Southerland of Hornbeak, Ricky Southerland of Spring Hill, Roy Southerland of Jerome, David Southerland of Albion and Greg Southerland of Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
