He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearil Cochran and Doris Dean Cochran (Crum); his son Ellis Cochran, Jr.; his sister Della Monterrosa; and his stepson B. J. Tilghman.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Duffer Tilghman; his children, Laurene Cochran, Jane Cochran, Patrick Cochran, Dorris Cochran and Nicholas Cochran; his brothers, Pearil Junior Cochran (Debra) of Bruceton, TN and Steven Crum (Terry) of Lexington, KY; his nephew Michael Crum; his niece Maureen Piening (Chad); his great-niece Mallory; and his great-nephew Drew Piening.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White-Ranson Funeral Home (212 W Washington Ave, Union City, TN 38281). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to a charity of the donor's choice.
