He is survived by: his children, Melissa Griffith of Columbus, Kentucky and Rodney Smith of Columbus, Kentucky; his sister Cindy Minyard (Andy) of Union City; and his grandson Benton Griffith of South Fulton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
