She is survived by: her mother Jannie Lee Sergerson (Settles) of Hermitage; her husband William "Billy" Hale; her children, Susan Hale of Union City and Jason Hale (Li Dai) of Union City; her stepson Billy Hale of Ocean Breeze, Florida; and her sister Lisa Strain (Scott) of Gordonsville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
