He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Darden and Phyllis Darden; and his brothers, Charles Darden and Warren Darden. He is survived by: his spouse Diona Marie Elliott; and his children, Amanda Hernandez (Jesus) of Fort Campbell, Caitlin Berry (Vincent) of Martin and Dennis Wayne Wallance (Priscilla) of Memphis. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
