She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle White and Jessie White (Blackburn); her husband Terry Joe Barton; her son Ron Barton; and her sister Emily Woods.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Ruth Barton; and her nieces, Darlene Horton and Jana Ray. She is also survived by two grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made in honor of Mrs. Bettye to the Rutherford Church of Christ.
