He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett Forbes and Della Laws Forbes. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Forbes; his stepdaughter Dena Ketron (Terry Ketron); his stepgranddaughter Katie Cross; and his brother-in-law Dennis Ball.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Unicoi Funeral Home (4428 Unicoi Dr, Unicoi, TN 37692). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601).
