She is survived by: her parent Zettie Shelton Ray; her spouse Reverend Bernie Freeman Jones; her son Doug Jones (Sharon); her sister Sarah Edwards of Erwin; and her grandsons, Derrick "Alex" Jones and Ian Jones. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
