She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Hoyle and Ethel Chandler Hoyle; her sons, Mike and Bruce Stephenson; and her siblings, Robert, Grady, Hual, Vanas Hoyle, Vera Carter, Delia Hoyle, Edna Davis and Una Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Stephenson (Pat) and Regina Blakely (Melvin); and her sisters, Phyllis Hoyle of Erwin and Shirley Fender of Erwin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
