He was predeceased by: his father Doyle Foster; his sister Nancy Foster; and his stepfather Walter Helton. He is survived by: his mother Vera Foster Helton; his wife Verna Miller Foster; his children, Eric Foster (Ashley) and Leslie Foster (Paul); his stepson Terry Miller of Erwin; his sisters, Sonya Wilson Osgood (Matthew) and Joyce Payne (Danny); his grandchildren, Dorian, Andrew and Lucas Foster; his nephews, Richard Wilson and Daniel Payne (Feather); and the mother of his children Sandra Hopson.
