He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Allen and Sara Allen Shell; and his grandparents, Harley, Louise Allen, Oscar and Maude Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Allen; his daughter Kayla Allen; his brothers, Robert Allen and Roger Allen (Kristen); his nieces and nephews, Rhett, Ryan Allen, Jessica Burleson (Chris) of Erwin and Samantha Allen of Erwin; his mother-in-law Carol Cook; and his sister-in-law Kim McCoy (Scott) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, and numerous friends.
