He is survived by: his spouse Melinda Bennett; his mother Robbie Tipton of Erwin; his children, Jacob Bennett of Nashville, Kelly Bennett, Erwin Bennett and Emily Bennett; his siblings, Tony Tipton of Florida and Glenda Tipton of Maryville; his mother-in-law Mary Sparks of Flag Pond; his aunts, Catherine Arenas, Priscilla Saylor, Phyllis Masters and Peggy Wright; his friend Roy Thatcher of Illinois; and also Denny Bennett. He is also survived by several aunts, nieces and nephews also survive; his dog, Molly who was his constant companion.
