He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Barron, Sr. and Marie Thompson Barron; and his son Brian Barron. He is survived by: his wife Marijane Garland Barron; his children, Beth Wolfe (Philip) and Blake Barron (Jama); his daughter-in-law Christie Barron; his sister Sharon Harvey (Mark); his grandchildren, Macy Street, Paige Wolfe, Luke Barron, Ally Barron, Baylee Barron and Brady Barron; and his mother-in-law Betty Garland. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
