He was predeceased by: his parents, Holt Hensley, Jr. and Patsy Rhoten Hensley; and his brother Tom Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Margie Hensley; his stepchildren, Michael Hensley (Susan) of Jonesborough, Mitchell Hensley (Tabitha) of Jonesborough and Rachael Honeycutt (Mark) of Jonesborough; his grandchildren, Cole Hensley, Lilygrace Honeycutt, Audrey Honeycutt, Emma Honeycutt, Isabella Hensley, Tucker Honeycutt, Ava Hensley and John Will Honeycutt; his brother Freddy Hensley (Joy); his sister-in-law Joy Hensley; and his nephews, Jon Hensley and James Badger.
The family requests that donations in-lieu-of flowers be made in Phillip's name to Isaiah 117 House, P.O. Box 842, Elizabethton, TN 37644.
