He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Benjamin Link and Esther Link (Porwancher). He is survived by: his sister Naomi Stopper (Porwancher); his niece Robin Stopper; his nephew Doug Stopper; his daughter Kimberly Carper (Link); his grandchildren, Marissa Carper and Jack Carper; and his brother Wolf.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to any one of Mitch's favorite organizations, including Brother Wolf Animal Shelter in Asheville, NC, Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA, the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra in Johnson City, TN, the Unicoi Animal Shelter in Unicoi, TN, the Washington County Animal Shelter in Johnson City or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
