He was predeceased by: his parent Sam H.; his wife Lillian Hazel Tipton; his son-in-law James Widener, Jr.; and his grandson Tony Shane Hensley. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Bean Tipton; his daughters, Doris Widener, Greeneville Campbell and Karen Campbell; and his grandsons, Jeff Hensley, Jason Campbell and Ronnie Widener. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
