Lloyd Garland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Garland of Unicoi, Tennessee, born in Relief, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Garland and Mercy Griffith Garland; his wife Mary Russell H. Garland of Buladean, NC; his son Lloyd Daniel Garland; his grandchildren, Tiffany Danielle Reynolds and Christopher James King; and his siblings, Lola Gage, Gertha Gage, Monnie Love, Eula Johnson, Wanda Riddle, Myrtle Hollifield, Earl, Ross and Burl Garland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Victoria Reynolds (Morris) of Charlottesville, VA and Robin King (Gary) of Unicoi; his sister Marie Branham of Cave Springs, GA; his grandsons, Nicholas Reynolds (Mayra) of Charlottesville, VA and Nathan King (Carrie) of Richmond, VA; his great grandchild Henry Reynolds (Hank); his adoptive daughter Angela Jackson; and his daughter-in-law Debra Garland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family asks that all who attend the services wear a mask or face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines.
